Naked Love by Mom Life Now

Today, I wanted to share a blog post I found over at Mom Life Now that really challenged and encouraged me. As a stay at home mom, it’s so easy to feel like what I do is meaningless or to believe that what I do is not enough. The monotony of the dishes, dirty diapers, and dirty floors can make it seem like I never accomplish anything of value. It feels as if I have nothing of value to show the world.

But it doesn’t matter what people may think. I’m spending my days raising a tiny human and curating a loving home. I’m pouring out my love to my daughter, while the Holy Spirit makes me more like Christ through every whine, temper, and mess I clean. Every dish and every diaper is a way to serve and worship the Lord. That’s what matters, because it’s about His glory, not mine.
